FULL TIME OPPORTUNITIES:

1. Registered Nurse: Full-Time

Position Summary

Supervises, delegates and ensures the delivery of quality, general and psychiatric nursing care to children and adolescents hospitalized for the treatment of psychiatric, emotional disorders, and addictive disease. Serves as an active and constructive member of the interdisciplinary treatment team. Supports the hospital’s philosophy of Nursing. Ensures the safety and well being of each patient and that the standards of nursing and patient care are met.  

Qualifications Required:

Associate of Science or Diploma Nursing Degree with Licensure in Florida as a Registered Professional Nurse in accordance with Florida Statute 464.  2 years psychiatric nursing experience and BSN preferred. 

2. Housekeeper   

Position Summary

Position requires the ability to stand or kneel for short to long periods of time and to ambulate within business and youth service environments, both interior and exterior.  Manual dexterity is required for daily use of equipment.  Must be physically capable of exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects for the purpose of pushing/pulling of housekeeping equipment, furniture, linen, etc.  Tasks may include but not be limited to sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, vacuuming, emptying trash, cleaning windows, removal of towels and linens, and any other reasonable requests to ensure a clean environment.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. 

Qualifications Required:

High School reading, writing, and math skills.  Basic English usage, courtesy and neatness.  Must have a basic knowledge of using a personal computer, ladders, telephone, hand tools, vacuum, floor cleaners, and be familiar with drains, plumbing, and cleaning equipment.

PART-TIME OPPORTUNITIES:

1.   Registered Nurse: Part-Time

2.  Mental Health Technician: Part-Time

Position Summary

The Mental Health Technician performs direct patient care duties in a Residential Treatment Setting.  The Mental Health Technician is responsible for supervising the patient in treatment, recreation, educational settings, and other activities of daily living to assess changes in their social behaviors and clinical status. 

Qualifications Required

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is required, and two years of prior experience working with psychiatric and/or at risk/troubled youth is preferred.  Experience in the supervision of adolescents in a residential treatment or juvenile corrections setting are preferred.

1. Business Office Coordinator   

Position Summary

Manage the day to day operation of the business office function of Admissions, Billing, Collections, and Patient Accounting.  Must perform monthly general ledger balance sheet reconciliations (including bank reconciliations) and prepare Expense Analysis schedules.  

Qualifications Required:

Bachelor’s Degree Accounting or related field. Displays written and verbal communication skills, and is able to follow written and oral instructions. Able to work collaboratively, diplomatically, and with integrity in problem identification, project management, and problem solving activities. Displays knowledge of ethical principles and compliance issues in a healthcare setting. Ability to prepare and analyze data and figures. Proficient in Windows Applications or related software applications, and 10-key by touch. Basic understanding of accounting principles. Demonstrated proficiency in data entry and keyboard skills. Knowledge of insurance billing and collections procedures.
